The Skin Illustrator Darkest Hour Palette is custom created exclusively for David Malinowski and  Kazuhiro Tsuji’s for their work on the feature film,  The Darkest Hour, starring Gary Oldman  Nominated for six Academy Award® and winner for best Actor and Best Makeup, the Darkest Hour Palette is uniquely special, as it’s custom color, Blenheim Blush, was named by Oscar winning actor, Gary Oldman.

Our custom Skin Illustrator color and palette were essential for maintaining Gary Oldman’s look in the Darkest Hour.   David Malinowski – Academy Award® Winner

The colors  can easily be applied with a brush, sponge or mascara wand.  Use it alone, or mix the colors with any of the other Skin Illustrator tones to create your own unique blend of  color.   David explains how the Darkest Hour Palette came about.

Colors it includes are Blenheim Blush, Olive Adjuster, Golden Ochre, Rice Paper, Coral Blue, Dark Mauve, DT Blush, Vein Tone, Midnight Brown and Bruise Tone

You must use Skin Illustrator Activator or 99% alcohol to activate the color pigment. Do not use 70% alcohol, MEK, acetone, water or any other solvent.

Removal is easy with PPI’s Telesis Beta SolvTelesis Super Solv or Telesis Makeup Remover.

Cracking, Bubbling, etc

Due to the high pigment content and lack of unnecessary fillers in the Skin Illustrator color system, cracks, bubbles and any shrunken appearance that may occur in some dried color cells does not affect the quality or performance of the product in any way.
