Thank you to the ultra-talented @richardredlefsen for your nostalgic and fun live version of “Snow Miser” at Son of Monsterpalooza (@monsterpaloozaofficial) at the PPI/Skin Illustrator booth. Thank you Gordon Tarplay (@gordontarpley) for being an incredible ‘Mr. 10 Below.’
In 1974 “The Year Without a Santa Claus” was released by Rankin-Bass.
•
Makeup application, paint and details by Richard who sculpted this character for RBFX studio @rbfx . The intention was always Snow Miser but it had to be usable for a variety of different characters for Rolands prosthetic line. Frozen hair and nose icicle were sculpted , molded, soft foam casted, painted and plastic vacuform skin by Richard. Prosthetics provided by RBFX @rbfxprosthetics . The beautiful costume was made by seamstress extraordinaire Merill and the lovely scarf was knitted by Mona Kirton @mzzie.me . Teeth sculpted, molded, casted, and painted by Richard. Lenses by Sean Kenney @spk227 . Hat, cane, and gloves fabricated by Richard as well. Big thanks to Jason Collins @autonomousfx2005 and Vincent Van Dyke @vincentvandykefx for the use of their shops to do all the lab work and apply this character. I’ll be applying it in the talented Gordon Tarplay @gordontarpley. He’s Mr. White Christmas, he’s Mr. Snow, he’s Mr. Icicle, he’s Mr. 10 Below❄️. In 1974 The Year Without a Santa Claus was released by Rankin-Bass. This is my version of the Snow Miser, the lovable chilly side of the Miser brothers, Snow and Heat, who were in The Year Without a Santa Claus. Makeup application, paint and details by me. Fun little demo I did at Monsterpalooza last week for my dear friends at the @ppipremiereproducts and @skinillustratorofficial booth! I applied this with my dear friend the amazing and talented @cristinapattersonart who also did the beautiful lenses.. Amazing teeth by @aaron_globerman and face sculpt by @ekoostudio special thanks to the @autonomousfx2005 team as always. The face is silicone and the cowl is foam latex. Always tricky. The cowl was repurposed from another mold to work for this makeup. Our perfect model @gordontarpley brought home the goods!! @mouthfx for the wonderful mouth stain!! A special ‘thank you’ to @artistrybyrenae and @frankiesinatra.mua for the clean up help!!
